About HPW Cards

HPW Cards is looking to expand our team and is looking for additional team members to join our front-line staff. If you’re passionate about trading cards, enjoy helping customers, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, answer questions on product availability, pricing, and store policies, and ensure every visitor has a positive experience.
• Sales & Checkout: Operate our POS system, process transactions (cash, debit, credit, store credit), apply discounts and promotions, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Store Presentation: Keep shelves stocked and displays organized, rotate products to feature new releases, and maintain professional store presentation.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment by sweeping, tidying, and handling recycling/garbage.
• Events & Community Engagement: Support tournaments and events by helping with setup, welcoming participants, and fostering a positive atmosphere.
• Teamwork: Participate in daily check-ins, communicate effectively with staff, and work collaboratively to keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, approachable, and professional with strong communication skills.
• Interest or knowledge in trading cards (Pokémon, One Piece, sports cards, accessories).
• Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling transactions accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to help with cleaning and restocking.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience with Shopify, BinderPOS, or other TCG softwares.
• Flexibility in schedule and ability to work weekends.
